Welcome to the 1st International Symposium on Cancer Immunology and Immunotherapy organized by the Japanese Association of Cancer Immunology (JACI). This symposium provides a multidisciplinary educational environment focused on next-generation cancer immunotherapy based on basic and clinical immunology. The symposium consists of cutting-edge research presentations by experts from the affiliated societies in the USA and Europe as well as Japan, poster abstract presentations, and networking opportunities, such as a “Meet the Experts” session. The audience includes basic and clinical investigators from academic institutions and industries, clinicians from hospitals, graduate students, and post-doctoral fellows who wish to learn more about current and future cancer immunotherapy. We hope that this symposium will be fruitful for all participants. We look forward to your participation in the symposium and continuous support for JACI.
